Photos: ‘I love babies': Mother, 20, gives birth to THIRD set of twins in 26 months and uses no fertility drugs

Danesha Couch

They say trouble comes in threes, but for one mom, its twins. A mother in Kansas has given birth to three sets of twins in a little over two years.
Danesha Couch, 20, of Kansas City, Kansas, says she has not undergone any fertility treatments and realizes that some people might consider her ‘a freak of nature.’

Couch delivered two boys 26 months ago. One of them died from complications of premature birth, but the survivor, Danarius, is a busy toddler.
Third set of twins Dalanie and Darla were born last month and came home after three weeks in neonatal intensive care
Fourteen months later, girl twins Delilah and Davina, now one year old, came along.
And last month, girls Dalanie and Darla were born. They just arrived home after three weeks in neonatal intensive care.
With five kids all under 26 months, Danesha Couch says she is always picking something up, picking up food or changing a diaper, according to Inside Edition. She also said she always has a pile of laundry

While the odds are approximately 88,000 to one of having three sets of twins, according to a British study noted by WDAF, Couch’s odds may be much greater than that.
Couch apparently has a condition in which she releases more than one egg per month.
‘So you have two eggs simultaneously coming down the tubes getting ready to be fertilized,’

Dr.Elizabeth Wickstrom of Shawnee Mission Medical Center told the outlet.
Couch’s twins are all fraternal, meaning they are from two separate eggs being fertilized, not from an egg splitting.

Additionally, Wickstrom said that African-Americans are more likely to have multiple multiples.
Asked why she got pregnant again after having two sets of twins, Couch replied, 'I love babies.'
She said she only regrets that they were timed so closely together.
'I'm always picking something up, picking food up, changing a diaper,' she told Inside Edition, adding that she goes through three dozen diapers a day.

Couch is now a full time stay at home mom and says she goes through three dozen diapers a day

Couch is engaged to the father of the second and third set of twins, and they are planning their wedding for September.
Fiance Jeffrey Presler is an aquarium technician and also works at Gas-mart USA, according to his Facebook profile. Couch worked at Minitmart, according to her Facebook profile, but is now a full time mother, according to Inside Edition.
She says that there is family nearby to help care for the babies.

Couch and her fiance don't plan on having any more children right away.
'I love babies but maybe in 10 to 15 years, when these ones are big enough to help,' she told the TV tabloid.
