Tycoon gunned down by jealous swimwear model ex as he arrived at villa with new love

Mayka Marica Kukucova

Millionaire Andrew Bush was murdered by his jealous ex-girlfriend as he began a romantic break with a new and younger love.
Swimwear model Mayka Kukucova, 26, gunned down the 48-year-old jeweller at his Spanish holiday home.

She flew into a rage when she saw him arrive at the Costa del Sol villa with Maria Korotaeva, 23, the Sunday People writes.
Maria later recalled: “As soon as Andy switched on the lights I knew there was something wrong.
“There were bras and knickers hanging on a clothes rack. My heart started thumping. I had a feeling someone was in the house.
“When I got to the top of the stairs I could see her. The image will haunt me for the rest of my life. She stood there, staring at me. She had her hair down and was wearing pyjamas. I could just see her silhouette. I screamed and ran out of the house.”
Maria sat in Andrew’s car and he came out and told her to call the police. But within minutes he was dead. Kukucova shot him three times, twice in the head and once in the shoulder, with a revolver.

Before fleeing she placed the gun in his hand to make it appear he had committed suicide.
Callous Kukucova ordered Maria out of Andrew’s car and drove the £60,000 Hummer to the airport, from where she flew to her homeland Slovakia.
She was arrested days later and extradited to Spain, where she stood trial this year.
Kukucova was said to have become obsessive and stalked her ex-boyfriend after he ended their 30-month relationship.
She met the gold dealer in 2012 when he employed her at one of his shops in Bristol. But their relationship was toxic. She would fly into jealous rages and check his phone and computer.

When Andrew ended their relationship he took out a restraining order against her. His grown-up daughter, Ellie, who worked part-time for him, later described Kukucova as “extremely insecure”.
She said: “She was always worried about him being with other women. He couldn’t leave to get a coffee without her following him.
“She would check his computers as soon as he walked away and go through his phone all the time.”
Ellie said Kukucova behaved erratically on a holiday to Dubai – destroying Andrew’s laptop and throwing a temper tantrum in a shopping mall.
In May Kukucova was found guilty of homicide by a court in Malaga and jailed for 15 years.
