The Everton loanee, who scored the equaliser for Anderlecht to end the game in a 2-2 draw, said his club really wanted to win this game on the road.
“It was a very tough and difficult game against Kortrijk. Our plan and intention was to win and get the three points, but that was not to be,” he said.
“We are happy that we still got a point from the game though.
“I am also happy to score a goal in the game. We will keep working hard.”
He has now scored three goals this season.
Belgian champions Anderlecht are nint on the table with nine points from seven matches.
