I don’t know where Nnamdi Kanu is – Senator Abaribe replies fed govt

Senator representing Abia South Senatorial District, Enyinnaya Abaribe, has said he is not aware of the whereabouts of the embattled leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.

Recall that Senator Abaribe stood as a surety for Nnamdi Kanu but failed to produce him in court on October 17 for the continuation of his trial.

The government in its counter-affidavit filed before the Federal High Court in Abuja to oppose Abaribe’s request, told the senator that Kanu was in his custody and he had to produce him for the continuation of his trial.

But the senator in a text message said, “I don’t know where he is.”
“I don’t know where he is. But that is a question that will be resolved by the suit we have instituted,” he stated.
