Carlo Ancelotti had his first official day as Bayern Munich manager today.
With Euro 2016 all wrapped up, it’s time for club bosses to get back to work, and Carlo took up the reins in Bavaria today, meeting the Bayern hierarchy and being shown around the plush Allianz Arena.
Ancelotti comes off a sabbatical; having been sacked by Real Madrid last summer, he say last season out while waiting for the right job to appear, and it definitely has with Bayern.
Nice message from Pep
Inheriting the job from Pep Guardiola, Ancelotti has a lot to live up to.
Pep won the Bundesliga tittle with ease during his three years in the Bavarian capital, and has now made that the absolute minimum expected of a Bayern manager.
Now at Manchester City, Pep has wished Ancelotti all the best, and the Italian revealed the nice note that was left for him in his office when he arrived.
Pep left a message for Ancelotti in Bayern's office on the wall: "With high esteem, may you have good luck Carlo!"pic.twitter.com/fGjtw90q8M— The Pep (@GuardiolaTweets) 11 July 2016
