Alvaro Negredo has endured a fall from grace since departing Manchester City, with his move to Valencia failing to work out. However, the Spaniard could be offered a move back to England to resurrect his career with Middlesbrough, who are reportedly in talks with Valencia over the striker, reports the Sun.
The Spanish striker could be attracted to compatriot Aitor Karanka's side, who initially want to take the 30-year-old on loan, with Los Che looking for £8.5 million in a permanent move. Boro have been efficient with their business this summer, acquiring Victor Valdes, Marten De Roon, Viktor Fischer andBernardo, but adding Negredo could go a long way toward securing survival next season.
