Felipe Anderson was one of Europe's finest young talents two seasons ago, but the Brazilian failed to live up to expectations in 2015-16. Now, Lazio are prepared to cash in on the 23-year-old, according to reports from the Gazzetta World.
Despite struggling to hit the heights of the previous season, Felipe produced seven goals and four assists as Lazio finished a disappointing eighth place. The winger has linked up with agent Giuliano Bertolucci, who has strong ties with the Blues; Italian outlet Gazetta World suggested a move to Stamford Bridge.
The former Santos star would presumably be a squad player initially with his preferred role likely to be taken up by Eden Hazard. However, Chelsea will hope to reignite Felipe in the Premier League.
