Arsenal have denied reports in Germany that they have approached Thomas Tuchel

Arsenal have denied reports in Germany that they have approached Borussia Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel to replace Arsene Wenger.
A spokesman has told Sky Sports News HQ that the report, which appeared in Bild newspaper, is "not true".

Wenger's future has been the subject of intense speculation for months, with the Frenchman's contract set to expire at the end of the season.

Arsenal have reiterated that a decision on Wenger's future will be a "mutual decision, which will be communicated at the right time in the right way".

After Arsenal's 3-1 defeat to West Brom on Saturday - a result which leaves the Gunners sixth in the Premier League - Wenger said he has made a decision on whether or not he would be staying at the club and would announce it "very soon".

West Brom boss Tony Pulis has claimed that Wenger told him after the game - which saw some Arsenal fans display banners calling for him to go - that he has decided he wants to stay at the club.
