Petrol sells for N160 in Enugu, as scarcity persists

The scarcity of fuel in Enugu took a new dimension on Thursday as independent petroleum marketers withdrew their services, alleging that the government had compelled them to sell at government-approved price.
Almost all the filling stations in the state capital, including major marketers, closed shop on Thursday.

MEMBERS of the House of Representatives, Thursday, mandated the Public Accounts Committee, PAC to probe an alleged , Mrs Deziani Allison-Madueke for air charter services.
The House in session also directed the committee to conclude the investigative hearing within two weeks and report back. This move was initiated by Rep Adejare Samuel, APC, Agege Federal Constituency, Lagos in a motion entitled:’Urgent Need to Investigate the Waste of Resources on the Arbitrary Charter and Maintenance of a Challenger 850 Aircraft for Non-Official Use’.

Kano deports beggars to Jigawa, Katsina, Kaduna
