A middle-age man, name withheld, who is also a popular chewing stick seller, was said to have forcefully raped a six-year old girl.

The ugly incident took place at Oorelope local government area of Oyo state. According to a source the man was said to have called on the girl when nobody was at home. He then sent her to buy N20 worth of cooked rice for him an errand the girl promptly obeyed.

Serial rapist to spend 110 years behind bars

A Cleveland, USA man, Dwayne Wilson, must have thought he had gotten away with crimes he committed in the 1990s where he went on a kidnapping and raping spree but his crimes have caught now caught up with him as he has been sentenced to 110 years to life in prison after tests matched his DNA to evidence in a backlog of untested rape kits.

While sentencing, the judge called the 54-year-old Wilson 'the worst of the worst' and promptly dispatched him to the jail house.

Wilson was convicted in February of seven counts of rape and four counts of kidnapping.

The Japanese woman who was recognised by the Guinness Book of World Records in 2013, as the oldest person alive, died of heart failure, today April 1st, 2015, surrounded by her family in a nursing home in her hometown of Osaka.

Misao Okawa was born on March 5, 1898. She got married in 1919 and all her three children have long died, leaving her with four grandchildren, some of them in their 60s, and six great-grand children.
