Senator Shehu Sani has asked President Buhari to bury his thoughts to seek a second term in office and concentrate his energy in fixing all the problems like Herdsmen killings, kidnappings and other problems that currently plague his administration.

Sani, in a statement released to the media, said this while reacting to the endorsement of President Buhari's second term bid by seven APC governors. Sani in his statement said it amounts to political sacrilage for anyone to be talking about a second term bid for president Buhari when people are being killed. The Senator who represents Kaduna central in the senate, says such discussions of re-election amounts to dancing on the graves of the deceased.

A woman and her family are being sued by her husband’s lover for allegedly threatening to break her legs, disfigure her, and destroy her after they learned about the affair. She is seeking $5million in damages.
According to reports, Alice Bahar, 37, met her lover, landlord Abraham Sanieoff, as an exclusive broker for one of his West Village rental properties. He pursued her, but Bahar says she initially told him ‘No stay away from me. You’re a married guy,’ according to her attorney.

Suspects Who Allegedly Killed Jumia Dispatch Rider In Rivers Plead Not Guilty


The two suspected killers of Eleje Chukwuma, a dispatch rider whose body was found in a septic tank last year, have pleaded not guilty to the three-count charge of conspiracy, murder and armed-robbery filed against them.

The suspects appeared in court in continuation of the murder trial that started last year. A magistrate court in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, last year remanded them in prison.

The murder trial of Osa Alohaneke, a Nigerian accused of stabbing his girlfriend to death in 2015, has opened in a Fort Bend County Courtroom in Houston. Alohaneke, 59, was living with his girlfriend,  a Cameroonian lady identified as Evelyne Epiepang, 52, when he allegedly attacked and murdered her after repeatedly stabbing her with a knife.

Taku was lucky that she survived the attack, but it was quite unfortunate for Epiepang as she lost her life in the attack in what jury classified as a pre-planned action by Osa.

The Ogun State Police Command has arrested one Jacob Monday, a labourer in a rice plantation in Alabata village, for reportedly attacking and robbing his supervisor, Monday Dare, when he came to pay the salary of the workers on the 19th December 2017.

Jacob was arrested in Kabba, Kogi State on 2nd January 2018, two weeks after he committed the said offence and fled.

560 Nigerian returnees from Libya arrive Port Harcourt


The third batch of 560 Nigerian returnees from Libya have arrived Port Harcourt.

Mr Martins Ejike, the South-South Zonal Coordinator, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), made this known to newsmen on Sunday in Port Harcourt. Ejike said that the returnees, comprising 540 adult and 20 infants, arrived the airport on board Max Air, with registration No: 5N-HMM at about 11:52 p.m.
