Russian woman, 22, is BEHEADED on first date by a man she met on a dating website

A Russian woman seeking love on the internet was beheaded on her first date with a new man she met online.

Kristina Medvedeva, a shop assistant in the Russian city of Ekaterinburg, described her relationship status as ‘actively searching’ on one social media site.
The 22-year-old was known to be active on at least one dating website, but police have not said if they have been able to track the man she was with from her internet history.

Her badly mutilated body was found on the shore of a lake close to a residential area called Michurinsky on the outskirts of Ekaterinburg, Russia’s fourth city.

A 20-year-old woman has been arrested for allegedly dumping her two-hour-old newborn baby inside a plastic bag and running away.  She abandoned her baby in a pink plastic bag that was later spotted by shocked locals in Wangjiaoqiao village, south-west China. The child whose gender was not revealed, was rushed to hospital by police for emergency treatment but did not survive.

Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi, has denied allegations that he embezzled money meant for the development of Rivers state when he was governor. Amaechi said this while speaking at a stakeholders’ forum on corruption organised by the Federal Ministry of Justice in Abuja today July 28th. 

“If you had followed the Rivers State government when I was governor, we were the first state to introduce the Public Procurement Law in the country. The state cabinet used to call the Director General of Public Procurement in the state as an alternative governor, that they wanted an amendment to that law. The reason they wanted amendment is that he (DG) refused to increase the threshold to one hundred million naira, per ministry, instead he reduced it to 10 million naira.

A Nigerian man who operates a 'black money" was arrested in a hotel in Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Friday, July 22 while impersonating as a United Nations officer.
The 46-year-old man was nabbed by the Wangsa Maju Commercial CID.
