The former governorship aspirant of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Gbemisola Saraki and Kwara state PDP youth leader, Hon. Segun Olawoyin, have publicly declared for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of Saturday’s elections.
Senator Gbemisola Saraki is the eldest daughter of the late strongman of Kwara state politics, Dr. Olusola Saraki, while Hon. Olawoyin is the son of late opposition leader in Kwara state, Late Josiah Olawoyin.

"I Don’t Regret My Action" - Suspected Drug Dealer


A suspected drug trafficker, Okoye Nnamdi, apprehended with cannabis by operatives of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, says he feels no remorse for engaging in the crime.

According to reports, Nnamdi was arrested along with five other suspects: Gladys Nwakolo, Made Okey, Nicholas Ogochukwu, Nnodebe Anthony and Nwodo Chidiebere. The suspects were reportedly nabbed with cocaine and methamphetamine at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.

Mother, daughter give birth for same man, same week


A South African woman, Mildred Mashego, and her daughter Patricia, have entered the record books as the first mother and daughter to give birth to their babies in the same month and for the same man.
Times Live reports that 38-year-old Mashego of Casteel, South Africa, was pregnant when she learned that her 19-year-old daughter was also pregnant, and the two were due just days apart.

A notorious Nigerian female child sex trafficker, Franka Asemota who has been on the run from the law has finally been arrested by the Interpol and has been extradited to the United Kindom.
The 36-year-old Asemota had been declared wanted by the international police over her roles in international child sex trafficking and smuggling business,  questioning on her involvement in crime against humanity.

18-Year-Old Caught Having Sex With Mad Woman In Lagos

Detectives attached to the Oke-Odo Police Station, Ile-Epo, Abule-Egba area of Lagos State have started quizzing an 18-year-old man caught pants down having sex with a mad woman on the road.

The suspect, Chimaobi Peter, said he had not yet penetrated before the screams of the woman alerted people.


But the woman’s family members said Peter had already penetrated.

Boko Haram Members Disguise As Preachers, Kill 24 In Borno


Suspected members of the Boko Haram sect have attacked Kwajafa village in Borno State killing 24 persons and injuring over a dozen others, a security source has revealed.

They also set the village mosque on fire.

The source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said the insurgents stormed the village on Sunday evening.

A United Kingdom, Steven Mathieson, has pleaded guilty to murdering a prostitute after he stabbed 44 times before raping two other prostitutes in front of his dead victim, reports Mirror.
The 38-year-old Mathieson, was arrested for the attack and murder of Luciana Maurer last December before sexually assaulting two other women who eventually escaped the attacker by running from the house naked and could now be sent to prison for the rest of his life.

A 45-year-old South Korean woman identified as Jeon, has been was arrested on charges of attempted rape after drugging her married lover and trying to rape him, Emirate247 reports.
The Seoul Central District Prosecutor’s Office announced that Jeon drugged her 51-year-old lover and attempted rape him after he said that he wanted to end their secret relationship.

Hackers hit bank ATMs in Lagos

A large number of Automated Teller Machines located in some posh areas of Lagos like Victoria Island, Lekki Peninsula Phase I and II, and Ikoyi have been attacked by hackers and electronic fraudsters, it has been learnt.
The hackers are said to be fixing small fraud tools on the ATMs in order to harvest the passwords of cardholders who come to collect cash or do some other transactions on the machines.
Top bank officials privy to the development said a number of banks had deployed detectives to monitor their ATMs in those locations, especially in the Victoria Island and Lekki axis.

PDP In Jigawa Expels Deputy Governor Over Sabotage


The deputy governor of Jigawa state, Alhaji Ahmad Mahmud has been expelled from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for alleged anti-party activities.

A statement signed by Alhaji Ibrahim Kafinta, PDP chairman of Galagamma ward in Gumel, Jigawa, revealed that the decision to expel Mahmud was taken during a stakeholders meeting held in his ward.

The governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, has denied stories making the rounds that he dismissed the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, from the state’s civil service for financial impropriety. 
Ambode was the state’s Accountant General before leaving the civil service.
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the state had said Ambode was sacked by Fashola for financial impropriety but Fashola denied the allegation, saying it was part of the desperate attempts by the PDP to win Saturday’s governorship election.
Fashola made the denial in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media, Mr. Hakeem Bello, on Saturday.

A Pakistani man suspected of killing his fiancee and nine of her relatives after they appeared to be reluctant to give her permission to marry - months after he allegedly murdered his own parents.
The 25-year-old suspect, who has been identified as Gul Ahmad Saeed, is alleged to have shot dead his fiancee, her parents and seven of her siblings on Sunday, police have said.
Their deaths came just months after he is alleged to have killed his own parents, brother and sister-in-law after they objected to the match.

Misty Machinshok, 33, has been jailed for 15 to 30 years for the abuse in which she 'coached' the pair on the best positions to conceive, and held her daughter's hand 'the first few times'.
She planned to tell friends and family that the teenager got pregnant with a stranger at a house party in their home town of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
Her 29-year-old husband Gary Machinshok, who she met through a website called onlinebootycall.com, will be sentenced this month after pleading no contest to raping the child 'every few days' throughout 2013.

Pastor And Wife Arrested In Akwa-Ibom For Selling Baby For N300,000


Akwa Ibom State Police Command has arrested Pastor John (other names withheld) and his wife, Deborah, over alleged abduction of a new born baby. A police source, said the couple abducted the baby to allegedly sell him for N300,000.00. The pastor allegedly had a link with a child trafficking syndicate operating at Nung Ukot Itam, Itu Local Government Area of the state.

Commissioner of Police (CP) Gabriel Achong, who was represented by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Mike Okoli, told Crime Watch Today that the General Overseer of a Pentecostal church, Pastor John and his wife adopted babies from a member of their syndicate, one Esther who was the baby’s mother.
