Robber Nabbed In Lagos After Being Warned By His Wife


A criminal suspect who is called Pally – Young or P – Young by his gang members has been arrested. The suspect's real name, Augustine Uchenna, a member of the 10 man gang arrested last week by the Decoy Team of Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command.

Pally Young, a father of seven and erstwhile “Danfo” driver was lurred into robbery by the gang’s leader, Isima, alias Cmans, himself, a danfo driver.

31 monkey pox cases in Lagos, Ekiti, Ogun, others


Monkey pox, which started with an index case in Bayelsa on September 22, has spread to six other states, including Lagos.

There are 31 cases, the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said yesterday.
NCDC National Coordinator/Chief Executive Officer Dr. Chikwe Ihekweazu listed the states as Bayelsa, Rivers, Ekiti, Akwa Ibom, Ogun and Cross River,The Nation reports.

Alleged N1.5bn Fraud: Edo APC Woman Leader, 4 Others Remanded In Prison


Justice Ohimai Ovbiagele of a Benin High Court on Monday adjourned until October 13, ruling in a bail application filed by Aisosa Amadasun, the Edo Woman Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC) and four others, facing a N1.5 billion alleged contract fraud.

The other defendants are: Adama Osabuohien, Prince Stephen Alao, Dove Momodu and Ali Sulayman.
