44 minors rescued from human traffickers in Kaduna


FRSC officials have nabbed a Fiat Bus Vehicle, popularly known as J5, discovered to be stacked with 44 minors and two adults who were suspected to be child traffickers.

Raped 10-year-old Indian girl, denied abortion, delivers baby


A 10-year-old rape victim whose plea for an abortion was rejected by India’s Supreme Court has given birth to a baby girl, a doctor said Thursday.
The girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was raped several times allegedly by an uncle who has since been arrested.
Last month her parents asked the country’s top court to allow her to have a late-term abortion but the request was turned down.

Six Lagos Airport Baggage Handlers Arrested For Attempted Cocaine Smuggling At Lagos Airport


Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA0 have arrested at least six warehouse and tarmac staff of the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company (NAHCO) Plc for their involvement in drug trafficking.

UNILAG final year student arrested for ‘rape’


Oluwaseyi Anyiam, a 400 level student of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), has been arrested for allegedly defiling a female colleague.
Anyiam, 22, who pleaded not guilty to a charge of sexual assault, is studying actuarial sciences.
Simeon Imhonwa, prosecutor, revealed that the accused committed the offence at Alaogomeji area of Ebute-Meta, Lagos on August 3 around 2pm.

Boko Haram: Army kills 10 insurgents recovers 52 cows


The Nigerian Army on Thursday said that it killed 10 Boko Haram insurgents in a clearance operations in Marte Local Government Area of  Borno.

A statement issued in Maiduguri  by Col. Timothy Atigha, the spokesman  of the 8 Task Force Division, said the troops also recovered bicycles and cows from the insurgents.

A 15-year-old girl identified as Doris Ogette Obo-Bassey Ekpo,has been declared missing in Calabar. The teenage girl left home on 12th of August and hasn’t been seen since.Any information on her whereabouts should be forwarded to the nearest police station.

A schoolboy who raped his sister during games of hide and seek bribed her with Skittles and had large amounts of porn on his mobile phone, a court has heard.

The 12-year-old boy is said to have repeatedly raped the girl, who was four at the time.

She eventually told her mother while having a bath and the boy, now 13, has admitted raping and sexually touching his sister.

15 teens gang rape donkey, get infected with rabies


Fifteen minors who sexually assaulted a donkey in the small rural town of Sidi Kamel , Morroco,have been treated for rabies infections received from the animal.

The sexually frustrated children and teenagers stayed at the Mechraa Belksiri Hospital for one week to receive rabies vaccinations after the animal transmitted the disease to them, explained Moroccan daily Al Akhbar.

Herbalist, concubine kill, dump baby’s corpse in latrine


The Katsina State Police Command has arrested an herbalist, Abubakar Saleh, for allegedly strangling a newborn baby and dumping its corpse in a latrine.

Also detained was the mother of the baby, Fatima Garba, who was Saleh’s concubine.

The spokesman for the command, DSP Gambo Isah, said the incident happened in Gyaza village, in the Kafur Local Government Area of the state.

Four-year-old pupil killed in Lagos shrine, parents, others arrested
