Burglar Found Sleeping Behind A Bar After Breaking Into A Nightclub


A bungling burglar was found fast asleep behind the bar of the nightclub he had broken in to. Drunk Trevor Palmer and three others were captured on CCTV entering the Basement Club, in Sunderland, in the early hours of the morning after the premises had closed for the night.

The men ransacked the venue and smashed their way into a safe to steal the contents.

The Group Managing Director (GMD), Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Dr Maikanti Baru, on Saturday assured Nigerians that the era of fuel scarcity is gone for good.

Host of the recently Championship of African Nations (CHAN) Morocco have proposed using 14 stadiums and budgeting to spend 15.8 billion dollars on infrastructure if it wins the right to host the World Cup soccer finals in 2026, the country’s bid committee announced at a news conference on Saturday.

The country however said it will not need to build new stadium but will renovate and modify existing venues and add temporary capacity to others, said candidature chairman Moulay Hafid Elalamy, who is also a government minister.

It all looks like the year 2018 will be a very big one for Nigerian rapper, Falz, real name Folarin Falana, and also called Falz the Badt Guy. The comic actor cum musician will be making his Hollywood debut as a lead role actor in a new TV series titled “Church.”


Falz, who is popular for his role as Segun in “Jenifa’s Diary,” inked a multi-season deal with BLK PRIME – an American entertainment company funded by the Silicon Valley EFC Investment Group – and is expected to star as William Randolph Church, a charismatic Nigerian billionaire in the TV series.

A suspected robber shocked so many in the court in Machakos County of Kenya after he requested that the Police refund him the bribe which they collected from him after they initially agreed to quell the case.

According to the Daily Nation, Mutinda Kilonzo revealed to the court that he was escorted by police officers to the bank where he withdrew an amount of Sh200,000 and paid to them to fulfill his part of the agreement aimed at his release.

A police sergeant, Oluwole Oke, has been accused of physically attacking the Osun State Commandant, Peace Corps of Nigeria, PCN, Paul Ayinde.

He was also said to have confiscated the uniform of the corps member.

The commandant told Punch that one of his men was driving along the Ede-Ife Road when a team of policemen stopped him at a checkpoint at Agbungbu village.

Romanian Court Declares a Man Dead Despite Him Being Alive


A 63-year-old Romanian man named Constantin Reliu is officially considered "dead" by the Romanian government, despite being alive and well. Reliu was deported back to Romania after living in Turkey for 20 years. When he arrived, border officials told him he was declared legally dead in 2016 and would have to pass several tests to prove his identity.
The Associated Press reports that Reliu went through hours of questioning, took his fingerprints, and had his body measurements taken to see if his proportions corresponded to his old passport photo. The tests confirmed his identity.
