The Kala/Balge council chairman of APC, Alhaji Modu Janga; and its Youths Leader, Alhaji Abba were attacked near Mafa town on the Maiduguri-Dikwa road while returning to Gudumbali.

According to Channels TV, the parents of 19 year old Godwin Ayogu, the 300-level student of Cape Coast University, Ghana, who was found murdered on February 19th (Read Here), said the the Nigerian High Commission in Ghana, who has been working with the Ghanaian Police, told them that some suspects have been arrested by the police in connection with her son's murder.

The Afenifere Renewal Group, ARG, a Yoruba socio-political group, has warned that any terror attack on Yoruba soil by the Boko Haram insurgents would be regarded as an act of war.

In a statement signed by its National Chairman, Olawale Oshun, on Monday, the group said that although they are a peace-loving people, the Yoruba would retaliate if they were attacked.

Raheem was paraded yesterday at the head office of the West African Examination Council (WAEC), Yaba, Lagos, before being handed over to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

A woman, Mrs. Ita Okokon, aka, Eka Isaac, at Atai Obio Offot, Uyo Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State, has killed her 15-year-old son, Isaac Okokon, after a minor disagreement.
Isaac, an SSS II pupil of Offot Ukwa Secondary School, Obiofot, Uyo, was said to have died on Friday following a machete injury his mother inflicted on him.
