The lifeless body was discovered by a passers-by, who raised his voice, thereby attracting residents of the community and later became the talk of the town.
The people, particularly the women were wondering who might have done the evil act to the unknown lady.
It was yet to be known if the deceased was an indigene of the community or the lifeless body was only dropped by the ritualists in the community.
Already, remains of deceased have been removed by the Homicide Section of the Nigeria Police for possible identification and investigation.
The Police Public Relations Officer [PPRO], Wole Ogodo confirmed the incident, saying investigation has begun to unravel those behind the killings.
An indigene of Arigidi-Akoko, who spoke with DailyPost but preferred anonymity, said such always occur whenever election period is approaching.
According to him, “My spirit told me this evil work was done by politicians because I have discovered that anytime election is approaching, we always witness things like killing and kidnapping. I am urging the youth, particular the ladies to know the kind of friends they keep.
“Just of recent, a female student of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, a nearby community to our own town was lured by her friend to a house built in a bush. Thank God for the Okada man who took them to the house, but became suspicious when it was only one of them who came out of the house. He quickly put a call across to the Police, but before the Police’s arrival, the other girl had been beheaded by the ritualists. It was later discovered by the Police that the other girl sold her friend to the ritutalists.
“I want to advise our youth, particularly the ladies that they should know the kind of friends they keep. They should not trust anyone, even their best friends and they should stop running after material things. Though, we are yet to know what led to the death of the young lady found by the road side in Aridigi-Akoko, we hope that very soon, the Police will bring the criminals behind this ugly incident to book”.

When she reported the abuse to Yahoo, Shi says, the company did nothing to stop it, and then put her on what eventually became an unpaid leave followed by final termination that took effect Friday.
