Liverpool still pushing to sign Barca's Song

Liverpool are still pushing to sign Barcelona midfielder Alex Song this summer as Brendan Rodgers looks to keep adding to his squad.
The Reds were first linked with Song two weeks ago with reports in Spain suggesting a deal was close, but all links with the Cameroon international have since died off.
However, El Mundo Deportivo says Liverpool are still firmly in the race for the player and are hopeful of signing Song on-loan.

The APC crisis which began in June this year following the emergence of John Oyegun as the national chairman of the party has culminated into the defection of Chief Tom Ikimi, who was one of the national chairmanship aspirants, from APC.
Ikimi in a statement made available to newsmen said, “I have made the decision to withdraw my membership from the All Progressives Congress (APC) from today, 27th August 2014″. Ikimi however failed to state exactly which political party he is defecting to.

The Board of United Bank for Africa Plc, UBA, on Tuesday named Mr. Tony O. Elumelu, CON, as Chairman to succeed Ambassador Joe Keshi.
Mr. Elumelu until this new appointment is Chairman/CEO of Heirs Holdings, the pan-African proprietary investment company, founded by him in 2010.
Elumelu retired as Group Managing Director/CEO of UBA in 2010, following the introduction by the Central Bank of Nigeria of 10-year tenure limits for bank CEOs.

And experts claim it's not just the effects of cannabis on the brain, but the fact that couples who use it may share similar values and social circles, that may reduce the likelihood of conflict.

Researchers at the University at Buffalo School of Public Health and Health Professions and Research Institute on Addictions, in New York, studied 634 couples to find that the more they smoked marijuana, the less likely they were to engage in domestic violence.
