Italy Places Ban On Uber

An Italian court has reportedly ordered Uber to stop all activities in all of Italy. The court says Uber represents unfair competition for taxi drivers.

TechCrunch reports the court in Rome says that Uber is a transportation company but doesn’t respect transportation laws — rates aren’t set by the transportation authority. That was the main contention point for traditional taxi associations as they can’t compete with Uber on price.

German national slumps, dies at Lagos airport


A German national, Brenard Christo, who slumped on Friday at the General Aviation Terminal of the Murtala Mohammed Airport (MMA), Lagos, has died.
Spokesman for the Lagos Airport police command, DSP Joseph Alabi, who confirmed the death of the German on Saturday, disclosed that the deceased was waiting to board a local flight on Friday when he slumped and was rushed to an undisclosed hospital by medical personnel attached to the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), where he later passed on.

A 43-year-old man, Sunday Okafor has told an Igando Customary court in Lagos that his wife, Adetola Okafor does not wash her body for days.
He said the attitude of his wife pushed him into adultery.
The woman, however, revealed that she paid the bills as her husband was jobless.

Officers of the Nigeria Customs Service, Ogun state, on Tuesday 4th April 2017, seized a refrigerated Iveco truck conveying contraband goods into the Country.

Politics Nigeria learnt that the items discovered in the intercepted truck were; seven hundred and twenty two (722) cartons of imported frozen fish comprising of soley fish, senrei fish of which they fall under water pelagic fishes (open-sea fishes), fifty-six (56) bags of imported rice of 50kg.
