A survivor of horrific domestic abuse has told how her boyfriend would force her to eat photographs of her dead relatives before beating her black and blue. In 2013 Craig Thomas, then 33, was jailed for 10 years following what a judge described as ‘one of the worst cases of domestic abuse’ he had ever seen. Charlotte Rooks, now 34, was subjected to a sustained period of torture, in which she would be beaten with hammers, made to sleep naked standing up, and violently abused so brutally that she needed major reconstructive surgery.

Lady Burnt To Death In Midnight Fire

Tragedy struck in Agoloma community in Patani Local Government Area of Delta State penultimate Thursday when a midnight fire burnt a young lady identified simply as Bridget Sampou Oyindoubra to death.

A Roman Catholic priest who sexually abused boys at an abbey school in the 1970s and 80s has been sentenced to 18 years in prison.

Andrew Soper, 74, formerly known as Father Laurence Soper, was convicted earlier this month of 19 charges of rape and other sexual offences against 10 boys at St Benedict’s school in Ealing, west London. He is the fourth man at the school to have been convicted of abuse.

15-Year-Old Housewife Poisons Husband, Half-Brother

A 15-year-old housewife, Dausiya Abdulmuminu, has been arrested by the Katsina State Police Command for allegedly poisoning her husband, Samilu Usman, 27, and half-brother, Mohammed Abdulmuminu, leading to their death.
