Man caught stealing batteries from a GLO mast in Lagos


A man was bound hand and foot after he was caught stealing batteries from a GLO mast this morning.

The alleged thief was caught by the vigilante group guarding the street on which the GLO mast is located. He had succeeded in removing the batteries before he was caught.

Chukwuebuka Oguejiofor, who witnessed the incident, shared the story online.

Bus conductor sexually assaults 6-year in school premises


A six-year-old girl pupil in Vasant Vihar, India, was allegedly sexually assaulted by a conductor in a bus when it was parked inside the school premises.
The sad incident took place on December 12.

According to Hindustan Times, the conductor, who molested the girl in the presence of other pupils has been arrested.

An unidentified middle-aged trader on Friday attempted to commit suicide by lying in front of the rare tyre of a truck to prevent authorities of the Cross River State Ministry of Environment from confiscating her goods worth N5, 000.
