Upcoming Female Rapper, London Dior, Dies in Fatal Car Crash


Stunning up-and-coming hip hop artist, London Dior, has died over the weekend in a fatal car accident. She was just in her early 20s.

Fast rising female US rapper, London Dior, who was heading home from the recording studio early Monday morning, has died in a car crash when the car she was traveling in, collided with a second vehicle in the intersection of Suitland Parkway and Forestville Road.

Europa League won’t be too bad for Arsenal – Cech


Arsenal goalkeeper, Petr Cech, has said playing in the Europa League next season would not be a disaster.

The Gunners will miss out on Champions League places even if they beat Everton on Sunday, if Liverpool defeat Middlesbrough and Manchester win at Watford.

Cech, who won the Europa League with Chelsea in 2013, feels the competition deserves respect, especially now that it offers the winners a Champions League place.

Two whistle blowers docked for providing false information


The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday arraigned the duo of Buhari Fannami and Ba-Kura Abdullahi on two separate one count charge before Justice M. T Salihu of the Federal High Court Maiduguri, for allegedly giving false information to the agency under the whistle blowing policy.
Mr. Fannamit had misled the EFCC with the information about illegally acquired monies purportedly buried at the residence of one Ba’a Lawan but the information turned out to be false after the execution of a search warrant.

The acceptance rate of Lesbians, Gays, and Bisexuals among Nigerians is on the rise according to a latest survey by NOIPolls, a premier organisation for country specific polling services in West Africa.
Commissioned by The Initiative for Equal Rights (TIERs), a non-profit organization working to protect the rights of sexual minorities, the Social Perception Survey on Lesbian, Gays and Bisexual Rights report showed a rise in family acceptance from 11 per cent in 2015 to 13 per cent in 2017.

Putin ‘ready to provide recording’ of Lavrov-Trump exchange


Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday that U.S. President Donald Trump did not pass any secrets onto Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov during a meeting in Washington on May 9 and that he could prove it.

Today the European Commission updated the EU Air Safety List, the list of non-European airlines that do not meet international safety standards, and are therefore subject to an operating ban or operational restrictions within the European Union. The EU Air Safety List seeks to ensure the highest level of air safety for European citizens, which is a top priority of the Aviation Strategyadopted by the Commission in December 2015.

Police arrest 2 over killing of Enugu State deputy governor’s orderly


The Police Command in Enugu State has arrested two suspected bandits responsible for the killing of Sgt. Helen Sunday, the orderly of Enugu State Deputy Governor, Mrs Cecilia Ezeilo.
