Arsenal 'to buy two stars in the summer'

Arsenal 'to buy two stars in the summer'

Arsenal want to sign at least two world class players in the summer to help propel the club onto glory next season.
The Gunners, who smashed their transfer record with the £42.5million signing of Mesut Ozil at the start of this campaign, are not planning on stopping there.

Arsene Wenger has been given the green light to carry on spending, especially after the club posted such strong financial results last month, with at least two top class players being targeted.
It’s thought that a striker and a winger are among the priorities, but Wenger is also open to the idea of buying another defensive midfielder.
Arsenal will also dive into the market to replace reserve goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski and right-back Bacary Sagna, if the pair can’t agree contract extensions.
However, it’s in attack where the transfer deals will be focused, with Wenger keen to add to his fire power during a season which has seen an over-reliance on Olivier Giroud, while injuries to Theo Walcott and Lukas Podolski have left the club short of wide players.
The transfer policy comes as Arsenal continue to sign up key first-team players to new deals, with Aaron Ramsey and Santi Cazorla joining Tomas Rosicky and Per Mertesacker in signing extensions recently.
Laurent Koscielny is set to be the next to commit his future to the Gunners, with talks over a new deal expected to begin next month.
