Lewis Hamilton denies getting engaged to Nicole Scherzinger

Lewis Hamilton has rubbished reports that he is getting married to girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger.

The racing champ was said to have popped the question to the X Factor star this weekend, seemingly not put off by the fact she had reportedly turned him down on three occasions in the past.

But when asked by The Sun if he was getting married he replied simply: ‘No, I’m not.’

Nicole was also photographed arriving at Heathrow Airport yesterday with no sign of a diamond ring on her left hand.

A source told the paper: ‘There’s always speculation and they are very committed to one another but they have only been back together since Christmas.

‘They want to spend time getting to know each other again without having to worry about wedding bells.’

The pair broke up last July but rekindled their love at the end of the year.

Lewis and Nicole have split several times during their rocky six-year romance with the couple blaming work commitments for the most recent break up.
