Besiktas have entered talks with Chelsea over the transfer of Super Eagles captain and midfielder John Obi Mikel.
Besiktas have booked a place in next season’s UEFA Champions League after winning the Super Lig title and are targeting an experienced midfielder with a proven track record of top level football.
Mikel has won the Champions League, Europa League, two Premier League titles, four FA Cups and two League Cups for Chelsea in 10 years at the club.
The Blues reportedly want £7.7 million from Besiktas for the services of Mikel according to the Express.
Mikel has just a year remaining on his contract and Antonio Conte has yet to make a decision on his future..
