Photo: Motorists claim chilling photo shows dead biker's SOUL leaving his body at crash scene

At first glance, it appears to show emergency crews at a crash scene.But a closer look at this photo reveals something much more eerie.The image depicts a ghostly, human-shaped figure floating in the air above the site of the motorcycle smash in Kentucky, US.

The rider later died in hospital, leading many people to believe that the snap shows the moment the victim’s soul left his body.The picture was taken by truck driver Saul Vazquez, who was traveling along the road in Powell County at the time of the crash.

He later posted it on Facebook, writing: “I took this picture just few minutes ago from the cab of my truck.

“It was an accident between campton and Stanton on the service road just off of the mountain parkway.Zoom in and pay attention to the shadow just off the top of the state trooper hat. All I say is I hope everyone involved is okay!!”

Mr Vazquez told reporters that the photo had not been altered in any way.Officials said the motorcyclist – who has not been named – was taken to hospital in a serious condition after the crash on Tuesday evening.He later died from his wounds, they told Lex 18 .The man is thought to have been the only person involved in the incident, which occurred at around 5.30pm on Highway 15 near Stanton.Since it was posted online on Tuesday, Mr Vazquez’s photo has been shared more than 5,700 times.
