Griezmann will stay at Atletico Madrid this summer – coach

Manchester United target Antoine Griezmann is not planning to leave Atletico Madrid this summer, according to the Spanish club’s assistant coach Juan Vizcaino.
Griezmann, 26, has just completed his third campaign with Atletico and is under contract with the La Liga side until June 2021.
The France international hinted last week that he is open to a move away this summer, while also saying that the chances of him playing at United — who have been strongly linked with a transfer — next season were “six out of 10.”
“I think Griezmann will stay,” Vizcaino, a former Atletico player, told Cadena Ser. “At this stage, you can misinterpret remarks made by anyone. I think Griezmann has it very clear in his mind that he will remain.”
Griezmann, who signed for Atletico from Real Sociedad in 2014, scored 26 goals and set up 12 more for the club in all competitions this season.
He turned down a move to Paris Saint-Germain last summer after an impressive 2015-16 campaign which had seen him finish third in the Ballon d’Or vote behind Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona’s Lionel Messi.
Instead, he signed a contract extension with Atletico and saw his buyout clause increase to €100 million.
Griezmann, having only lifted the 2014 Spanish Super Cup during his time at Atletico, spoke last week of his desire to “win titles.”
Atletico finished third in La Liga to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
