Chelsea legend Didier Drogba could be the next big name to join Major League Soccer after the Seattle Sounders offered him a lucrative contract.
According to the London Evening Standard, the MLS outfit are eager to bring the Galatasaray striker across the Atlantic, after the Turkish club continue to stall over a new deal for the 35-year-old.
Drogba enjoyed eight successful seasons at Stamford Bridge, during which time he scored 157 goals for the Blues. He could be joined by former Chelsea team-mates Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole in North America, with both players out of contract in west London at the end of the season.
Galatasaray manager Roberto Mancini is still debating whether or not to offer the Ivory Coast international a deal to extend his stay at the Turk Telekom Arena, despite the fact he has impressed with eight goals in 26 appearances this season.
Drogba will face his former club for the first time since he left in 2012 next week, when Galatasaray take on Chelsea in the Champions League last-16
