Nairobians to get one million condoms ahead of Valentine’s Day

King of Condoms

On hand to distribute the protective sheaths is Nairobi’s ‘King of Condoms’, Stanley Ngara. Ngara, a programme officer with Liverpool VCT, has been known in Nairobi for popularising the use of condoms

He distributes about 6,000 condoms every week and convinces Nairobians, including politicians and other prominent personalities, to buy them in shops and pharmacies.

Ngara with other health activist will spearhead the condom campaign as Kenya marks the International Condom Day (ICD) on February 13 with a free distribution of 1 million condoms in the city.
