Security Guard Proposes Marriage After Raping 24-Yr-Old Lady




A security guard named Kelly Ochuko raped a 24-year-old lady as she was returning from a vigil at the Synagogue Church of All Nations over the weekend.
Tivere, who had traveled to Lagos from Sapele, Delta State, to attend Pastor T. B. Joshua’s midnight programme, was accosted by the security guard at about 2 a.m. on Mutiatu Street, Ikotun, Lagos State.


27-year-old Ochuko, who was employed by the Igando Landlord’s Association to guard the area, reportedly lured Tivere into an uncompleted building by threatening to harm her with a cutlass.

After raping his victim, Ochuko proposed to her, pleading for her to marry him. He exchanged phone numbers with her that night.

Upon her release, Tivere approached policemen she met around the area and reported the incident. Ochuko was arrested immediately.

He was arraigned before an Ebute Meta Magistrate’s Court, Lagos State on two counts of rape.

Ochuko pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Ms Y.B Badejo-Okusanya, admitted him to bail in the sum of N50,000 with two sureties in like sum.

The case has been adjourned till March 4th, 2014.
