Manchester United have agreed a £43million deal with Monaco to make Radamel Falcao’s loan move a permanent deal – despite the fact he’s yet to score for them.
Falcao arrived at United on transfer deadline day for a £6million loan fee, and has featured in every match so far, but is yet to find the net.
However, the Red Devils are desperate to avoid him slipping away at the end of the loan, just like Carlos Tevez infamously did, so a transfer has been thrashed out this week.
United have agreed to pay £43million for Falcao while he will earn £250,000-a-week plus extensive bonuses at Old Trafford.
The move could be made permanent as early as the January transfer window, with Louis van Gaal clearly seeing the 28-year-old as a huge part of his future plans.
