A man has been left the sole parent to four newborn babies after his wife died giving birth to quadruplets.
Erica Morales, 36, from Phoenix, Arizona, gave birth to three girls and one boy on 15 January at Banner Good Samaritan Hospital but went into hypovolemic shock soon after, losing a huge amount of blood and dying an hour later.

And her husband Carlos Morales, who missed the sudden delivery of his children because he was at his construction job, spoke of how he went from having ‘the best day of his life to next morning experiencing the worst day of his life’.
‘How could this have happened?’ he told People.
‘She was fine, and then she wasn’t. She was alive and then she was just gone.’
And friends and family have rallied around the single father in support, with Erica’s best friend Nicole Todman setting up a GoFundMe page that has so far raised $258,000.
And Mr Morales said that he is taking classes to make sure he can give his children the best possible care.
‘I’m learning everything from how to give them a bath, CPR, feeding, and how to manage their sleep schedule. I need to be prepared,’ he said.
Two of the children – Paisley and Erica – are still in the hospital, where Mr Morales visits every day. His mother-in-law is caring for Carlos Jr. And Tracey at home.
