Former Manchester United boss, Sir Alex Ferguson, has given the green light for Paul Pogba’s £100million transfer, after meeting with Jose Mourinho at the club’s training ground.
Ferguson, who retired as manager three years ago, also used the opportunity to mingle with the current crop of players.
Mourinho is keen to work closely with Ferguson and is believed to have asked his opinion about the imminent world-record deal.
Ferguson was in charge, when Pogba left United as a free agent for Juventus in 2012. The Scot fell out with the midfielder’s agent, Mino Raiola, who he described as one of the worst agents he has dealt with.
However, the 74-year-old will be happy to welcome back Pogba to Old Trafford, as Mourinho’s reign begins.
