Chelsea boss Antonio Conte claims Manchester United have the best squad in the Premier League along with Manchester City.
The Italian guided his side to a 4-0 victory over United last October and host Jose Mourinho’s side once again at Stamford Bridge in the FA Cup quarter-final on Monday evening.
City were last summer’s top spenders in the Premier League having splashed out £174 million, while United were in second after forking out £149.5m on new players.
And Conte believes Chelsea’s two rivals have the most depth out of any of the sides in the top flight.
‘In October before the game I was sure to face a great team – and the same now,’ said the Chelsea boss.
‘I think Manchester United is together, with [Manchester] City, the best squad in the league.
‘They have a lot of great players with great talent, with great experience of winning.
‘For sure, it will be tough for us and tough for them.
For us, it’s better because in October we didn’t know our future, now we are in March and we stay on top of the table and we have a good identity of our team.
‘We are showing good football but for sure, it will be a really tough game against united because we are facing a good team [that’s] very strong.’
