Arsenal resolve over Alexis Sanchez to be tested with £55m offer

Arsenal resolve over Alexis Sanchez to be tested with £55m offer

Bayern Munich are readying a £55million bid for Arsenal contract rebel Alexis Sanchez, according to reports.

The Chile international is out of contract in just over a year, putting Arsenal in a difficult position.

The club want him to agree new terms, however it appears Sanchez has decided his future lies elsewhere.

Arsene Wenger has talked about holding the former Barcelona player to his contract – a situation that would see Sanchez remain beyond this summer but then depart for nothing in 12 months.
Witt that in mind the offer of £55m might be too much to refuse.

The Telegraph report that Bayern Munich are prepared to pay the significantly high fee for a player with so little left on his contract due to the level of competition for his signature.
Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, Chelsea and Juventus are all also keen on signing the 28-year-old forward this summer.

It’s suggested that Bayern will want any deal for Sanchez resolved quickly with the German champions having made a habit of avoiding drawn out negotiations in recent years.
That could suit Arsenal who could then concentrate on reinvesting the funds.
