I turned down a better deal with Chelsea to join Man City – Dani Alves

Former Barcelona and Juventus defender Dani Alves has revealed that he turned down a better deal with Chelsea to sign for Manchester City.
Alves is set to reunite with Pep Guardiola at the Etihad and admits that he could have easily been lining up for the Premier League champions next season.

He is currently on holiday in Brazil, where the local edition of Goal says he was offered two million euros more to sign for the Blues.
The player also rejected an offer of one more year at Juventus, to finally play in England.
When the Man City deal is finalised, Alves is set to be earn €5m (£4.4m) per season.
