Prison Break: 12 Inmates Make Alabama Jailbreak


12 inmates escaped from the Walker County Jail in Jasper, Alabama on Sunday evening, leading to a massive manhunt and the recapturing of eight of them, authorities said.
Walker County Jail officials said that 12 inmates escaped at around 9:30 p.m. local time. Authorities have not said how the inmates were able to escape the prison.

According to officials at the Walker County Jail, the following escaped prisoners are still on the run:
Christopher Micheal Smith, 19 - in jail for attempted murder, first-degree burglary, unlawful breaking and entering, second-degree theft.
-Brady Andrew Kilpatrick, 24 - in jail for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana.
-Larry Inman Jr, 29 - in jail for two counts of receiving stolen property, attempting to elude, failure to appear.
- Ethan Howard Pearl, 24 – in jail for resisting arrest, obstructing government operations, possession of drug paraphernalia, promoting prison contraband, failure to appear on fourth-degree theft.
While Eight of the runaway inmates were recaptured at 10:45 p.m. local time, about four hours after breaking out of the Walker County Jail in Jasper, Alabama about 33 miles northwest of Birmingham.
The Walker County Sheriff’s Office posted on their Facebook page that a $500 dollar reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the escapees. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 205-302-6464.
