Woman Lands In Trouble For Urinating On War Memorial For Third Time In Two Years

A woman has landed herself in trouble after she was caught committing an embarrassing offence in public. The mother-of-five was jailed again for urinating on a war memorial for the third time in two years. Kelly Martin, 43, drunkenly squatted on her boyfriend in her latest outrageous act at a town’s cenotaph.

Days before the incident, she told a police officer “I said I needed a ****” before she urinated outside a police station, a court heard.

Martin, who is currently serving a sentence in Peterborough prison, was jailed her for seven months after magistrates heard she urinated on her boyfriend John Hicks and the war memorial in Grays, Essex, on October 5.

According to Mirror Online,  Martin was jailed for seven months in September last year for urinating on the same memorial in April 2016, when it was still covered in Remembrance poppy wreaths.

Martin admitted two counts of outraging public decency, assault, using threatening behaviour, being drunk and disorderly and possession of cannabis.

She was jailed for a total of seven months for the two outraging public decency offences and two months for the assault, to run concurrently.

There were no further punishments for the other offences apart from the £115 compensation to the security guard.
