Another Young Nigerian Murdered In The Street Of London


Detectives investigating a fatal stabbing in Newham have named the victim, as they make fresh appeals for information.

At around 20:10hrs on Wednesday, 8 November, police were called by London Ambulance Service to reports of a man stabbed in Pier Road. E16.


Officers attended the scene and found a man suffering critical injuries. Officers administered first aid prior to the arrival of London Ambulance Service.

The victim was taken to an east London hospital, where he was pronounced dead at around 21:30hrs.

Next of kin have been informed and formal identification has taken place - the deceased is 21-year-old Adetokunbo Jordan Ajobo.

A post-mortem examination took place at East Ham Mortuary on Friday, 10 November and gave cause of death as a stab wound.

Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command have launched an investigation and officers returned to the scene on the evening of Wednesday, 15 November - one week on from the murder - to hand out appeal leaflets and urge local people to provide any information they may have.
