Young Mother Involved In Custody Battle Of Her Son Hangs Herself In A Hotel Room

A 23-year-old student who was involved in a grueling custody battle killed herself in a hotel room just two days after her birthday. According to reports, the student identified as Ellen Scott suffered anxiety attacks and became “stressed” over the possibility she might be pregnant again.

The young lady who was engaged – was about to fly out to Toulouse in Southern France to visit friends last June 25, before she was later found dead in her room at a Hotel near Manchester Airport where she had been staying ahead of her flight.

Two papers were found in the bin, which read “suicide” and “recovery”.

Although Miss Scott reportedly got custody of her child following a court battle, reports have it that she had also become concerned about a pregnancy test.

According to Mirror Online, below is what she wrote in a public blog three weeks before her death:

“The soul is so unbelievably confusing, we never stop learning about how our unconscious thought process affects our actions on an unwell mind – not that my mind us unwell, it just has its days.

“This mindset only creeps in to haunt when I become anxious of my Cub’s return. I am learning to use my energies in a positive manner. I get paranoid and realise these feelings are only present because on occasion he hasn’t returned home.

“I was emotionally tormented for such a period of time that it is only natural to go into defence and panic. Any mother would be exactly the same. It’s a long game of driving somebody completely insane.”
