Any pastor who anoints a woman’s breasts is not a man of God – Adeboye

The general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E.A Adeboye has spoken against what appears to be the new pattern used by some pastor during anointing. Recently, they’ve been pictures floating on social media showing pastors placing their hands on sensitive parts of their members during deliverance. This has been seriously criticized by Adeboye who says such men aren’t of God.

‘Any man who anoints women on their breasts is not from God.The head is the headquarters for the anointing in your body. Search your heart and be honest with yourself if you have missed it in your relationship with God. Holiness is crucial in sustaining the anointing because whenever the anointing dries up, the devil steps in. It is better never to be anointed than to be an ex-anointed. If you abuse anointing, it can destroy you. Samson is an excellent example. To be specially anointed, you must be holy” the clergyman said.

Pastor Adeboye, who recently celebrated his birthday was in Benue state where he and his wife paid a condolence visit to Governor Samuel Ortom and held prayers for the state. This is related to the constant attacks on people of the state by the dreaded Fulani Herdsmen which has seen the state hold 2 mass burials in the space of 3 months. The clergy man said,

”The governor is my son, the wife is my daughter and my children cannot be in trouble and I will fold my arms and do nothing. I would have come here before now but was guided by the spirit not to visit Benue before the President. The challenges are enormous but we know who to run to, and that is God almighty”.
