Fake Lawyer Arrested In Court In Lagos


The police at Ojokoro Division have arrested a 34-year-old man who has been parading himself as a legal practitioner in Lagos State, western Nigeria.

The suspect, Mathew Olayeye, was arrested at Ojokoro Magistrates’ Court on Thursday where he was facing another criminal charge.
His arrest followed a report by Barrister Seyi Olawumi, the General Secretary of Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Ikeja branch, Lagos, that he was an impostor.

25 Year Old Lady Arrested For Faking Cancer

 

Meaghan Hudson, 25, left those closest to her devastated when she sent text messages in December 2013, saying she was suffering from multiple myeloma and she was unlikely to survive, Mailonline reports.
She is facing jail on fraud charges after she allegedly faked having terminal cancer to her family and friends.

Man exposes girlfriend as fake soldier

The 323 Artillery Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Akure, Ondo State, has arrested a woman, Angela Omieh, for posing as a soldier.
Sets of military uniform, police extract and a sworn affidavit for loss of her military identity card were said to have been found with her.
