Two weeks ago, I posted a story about the Five Richest Nigerian Pastors . The piece has since attracted considerable attention in Nigerian and foreign media, for reasons not entirely clear to me. Still I thought it was just about over until I received word from several friends on Sunday that one of Nigeria’s most erudite pastors, Paul Adefarasin, was mildly upset that he didn’t make my little list and that he took his grievance to the church.

BREAKING NEWS: Jonathan Sacks Oduah, Orubebe, Olubolade, Ngama
President Goodluck Jonathan has accepted the resignation of four cabinet ministers.
They are Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah; Minister of Police Affairs, Caleb Olubolade; Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godsday Orubebe; and Minister of State for Finance, Yerima Ngama.
They were asked to resign to save them the humiliation of being sacked.
Three die in South African plane crash
Three people died when a private aircraft crashed at Lanseria Airport north west of Johannesburg on Monday morning, an airport official said.
“Something happened and it crashed on landing. It was flying in from one of the local airports,” said Lanseria Airport manager Gavin Sayce.
“All three people on board have died.”
He said the aircraft was a King Air 90.

A man who shot dead a black teenager in Florida in a dispute over loud music has defended himself in court during a racially-charged trial.
Michael Dunn is charged with the murder of Jordan Davis, 17, at a petrol station car park.
The 47-year-old told jurors he was in fear for his life when he fired upon a car carrying four black teens in November 2012.

Policeman to pay N10m damages for raping minor
A police corporal, Mr. Anthony Onoja, has been ordered to pay the sum of N10million as exemplary damages for the rape of a two-year old baby, Chinwendu Obi Onwudiwe.
A Nasarawa State High Court sitting in Mararaba, a town on the outskirts of Abuja, gave the order in its judgment in a suit filed against Onoja and the Inspector General of Police by her mother, Mrs. Ngozi Obi Onwudiwe.
Justice A. Asmau, in her judgment, held that the accused infringed on Chinwendu’s fundamental rights.

A church in the US state of Virginia has taken the bizarre decision to allow its congregation to attend services in the nude.
Pastor Allen Parker, the leader of White Tail Chapel in the town of Southampton, said he came to the decision to allow naked worship after concluding the clothing requirements of other churches were overly 'pretentious', and decided his own flock should be free to forgo such materialism if they desire.
He believes he is in good company too, claiming many of the most important moments in the Bible happened while the protagonists were nude, including Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection.

Police in Niger State has killed two armed robbers in Bangi village.
The Niger State Police public relation officer, Richard Ogunche, who confirmed this to Channels Televisionon Tuesday in Minna, said the robbers were apprehended during a stop and search operation along the ever busy Bangi road.
