Fake policeman arrested with fake currencies in Kaduna

EFCC Kaduna Zonal office, has arrested one Hussaini Mohammed of Tanko Road Barakallahu Kaduna State, for alleged case of extortion, currency counterfeiting and impersonation of the Nigerian Police Force. 

The accused, Mohammed, is alleged to have on several occasions disguised as a Corporal in the Nigeria Police Force having collected monies in order to secure the release of suspects from the Police.

Late Sutter was identified as Medina’s roommate by the LA County District Attorney’s Office, though Medina’s lawyer reportedly said the two were just friends, not roommates.
Medina pleaded guilty earlier this month to one felony count of voluntary manslaughter and admitted to stabbing Sutter with a sword.

Keith Jordan Lambing, 20, was caught by police in Pittsburgh, US, a day after his girlfriend’s son Bentley Miller, 4, was found unconscious in Lambing’s mother’s car.

Little Bentley was rushed to hospital but died as a result of multiple injuries including internal bleeding.

The Bayelsa Police Command, Mr Asinim Butswat, said on Friday that it recovered N1.3m cash from robbers following a distress call by members of the public in Opolo area of Yenagoa.

The Deputy Superintendent of Police and Public Relations Officer of the command said that the suspects, who were arrested in the act, operated with a tricycle for an easy escape.

Nigeria summons Indian envoy over ‘racist’ attacks on African students in Noida

Nigeria has summoned the Indian envoy in Abuja to express displeasure over the attacks on Nigerian students in India and voiced concern that the incident was not the first of its kind, the country’s Foreign Office said.

Sola Enikanolaiye, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nigeria, summoned Indian High Commissioner Nagabushana Reddy, on Wednesday in Abuja.
