The vice chairman at one of India’s largest technology services companies warned that U.S. President Donald Trump’s visa policies will damage the industry as his company reported weak earnings and his stock fell the most in almost two years.
Tech Mahindra Ltd. said net income was 5.9 billion rupees ($91 million) in the fourth quarter, compared with the average analyst estimate of 7.8 billion, according to estimates compiled by Bloomberg. Shares fell as much as 17 percent and traded 12 percent lower at 1:18 p.m. local time, the largest intraday decline since May 2015.

Shamsudeen Bala, son of a former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Bala Mohammed, was on May 30, 2017 re-arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, before Justice Nnamdi Dimgba of the Federal High Court, Abuja.


He was re-arraigned along with four companies – Bird Trust Agro Allied Limited, Intertrans Global Logistic Limited, Diakin Telecommunications Limited and Bal-Vac Mining Nigeria Limited, on an amended 15-count charge, bordering on money laundering.

The popular Port Harcourt-based on-air-personality (OAP), who hosts a comedy show, Funky 4+1, on one of the radio stations, was pictured in his underwears complaining to the Police about the steady kidnapping and armed robbery attacks at the Ada George road.

3 Students Shot in Cross River Over N13m Gift by Ayade, Akpabio


Two students from the University of Calabar (UNICAL) and one other student of the Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH) were allegedly shot by soldiers attached to the state security outfit, Operation Skolombo, during a protest staged to demand the sum of N13 million reportedly donated by Governor Ben Ayade and Senate Minority Leader, Senator Godswill Akpabio.

The students are currently receiving treatment at the Accident and Emergency Unit of the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital.

Tobi Ohioh Igioh, the only child of Pastor Sidi Lawal Igioh was shot dead by suspected armed robbers on Saturday, May 27 at Ugbor, in Oredo Local Government Area of Edo State. The victim, a Business Administration/Management student of the Benson Idahosa University was reportedly killed by a stray bullet, which was fired by suspected robbers who were escaping after an operation.

South African police detectives from the Greater Karoo attached to OCU-Narcotics, on Sunday morning, May 28, arrested a Nigerian man and a Zimbawean woman and seized drugs worth more than R20 million.

The 49-year-old Nigerian man and the Zimbabwean woman, 28, were driving along the N1 from Johannesburg to Cape Town with the stash.

Police thought a man was joking when he called them in a panic to report his girlfriend being raped.

The 26-year-old caller was camping with his girlfriend in a campsite near Bonn, Germany, in April this year when the rapist entered their tent and threatened them with a machete.

In what was a horrific attack, the stranger then dragged his 23-year-old girlfriend a few yards away at the Siegaue Nature Reserve and raped her, while her boyfriend frantically called police.
