18-year-old Juvik was punished with a dress code violation which left her seething and ready to fight for justice.
Helena High School sent the teenager home for her inappropriate attire after another student complained that the way she was dressed made them feel uncomfortable.
Humiliated but determined to address issues on her school’s dress code, Juvik made a plan to fight her case and change the way girls are allowed to dress at school.
Taking to Facebook, Juvik wrote a post in which she publicly shamed her school for their actions. To illustrate her point, she included a snapshot of herself wearing the controversial top, to ask her friends for their opinion.
Talking of the incident, Juvik said:
“What I was confronted about was wrong … As long as nothing is showing and you’re covered up, girls should not have to wear a bra.”
It would appear that this sentiment was shared by a majority of her fellow students who all rallied together to support their friend, even creating a Facebook page titled: “No Bra, No Problem.”
Meanwhile, Juvik’s mother is in full support of her bitter battle against the place in which she is educated. “I stand behind my daughter 100%! I am very proud of the point she is trying to make and the movement that she and her friends have created,”
Another reports says, ‘she was wearing nipple stickers, but typically doesn’t wear a bra ever. The stickers provide coverage, without the horrible feeling of wearing a full bra.
In fact, she hasn’t worn a bra in about a year. Honestly, this sounds pretty amazing.’
