Arsenal have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Paulo Dybala after German giants Borussia Dortmund joined the race for Palermo’s £29.5 million-rated forward.
Dybala, 21, has scored 11 goals in 22 appearances for eighth-placed Palermo this campaign, and has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium.
However, the Gunners’ hopes of signing the Argentine have been dented after Dortmund emerged as contenders for youngster’s signature, according to reports in Spain.
The highly rated Dybala had been widely tipped to make a move to the Premier League, but Arsene Wenger could have a battle on his hands as Jurgen Klopp looks to boost his relegation-threatened side’s attacking options.
