Besiktas eager to complete shock £25m Man City

The centre-back endured an injury-ravaged season last term, making just 22 appearances for City in all competitions.
He also missed Belgium’s Euro 2016 campaign, in which they were knocked out at the quarter-final stage by Wales.
New City boss Pep Guardiola is working hard to revamp his squad this summer and it is unknown if Kompany will be part of his plans going forward.

Starsport do understand that Guardiola is interested in mega-money moves for Everton defender John Stones and Juventus centre-back Leonardo Bonucci.
Now Turkish outlet Fanatik claim Besiktas are eager to wrap up a quick-fire swoop for Kompany and talks have already opened.
They claim Besiktas have drafted a contract for the 30-year-old and believe they can get the deal done within the following week.

It is said that the Super Lig side will offer £25m for Kompany and match the wages he is currently on at the Etihad.
