A teenage girl is in critical condition after she was struck by a car driven by her 26-year-old brother, who drove off after the crash.
The girl was hit at 2528 13th Avenue South, about three miles southwest of downtown St Petersburg, Florida on Sunday night.
She was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg in critical condition.
Her brother fled the scene and was arrested at 10.35pm several miles away, police said.
Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit are on the scene investigating the domestic incident.
Both the victim and her brother have been unnamed and no other information has been released.
